Memo is a messaging service available to your Telstra mobile phone, which can also cover calls to your fixed Telstra phone:

• Callers are forwarded to the Memo Reception Centre where a real receptionist, using your personalised greeting, answers the calls. Greetings can be up to maximum of 80 characters.
• The receptionist types any messages and sends them to your mobile phone as an SMS.
• Nominate an email address to receive the messages, so you can read, save, filter and forward them from your PC or Blackberry™

A cost-effective secretary
Save the cost of hiring a secretary, or free up your secretary for other duties with this personalised call answering service.

Memo Combined allows you to divert mobile and fixed calls to an operator if you are not available. A message is then sent to your Telstra mobile phone, and/or a nominated e-mail address.

Memo Work Order - gather up to four important pieces of information from every caller. Our operators will prompt callers for this information each time then deliver in a pre-defined SMS or email format useful for integrating into a database to track sales leads or delivery details. Cost of receiving a Work Order message is 20c per msg.

Memo features include:

Personalised Greeting: You can customise the operator’s greeting to give callers a professional answering service based on your personal or business needs. You can also provide the operator with information about your business on request by callers.

Email Drop Copy: A free feature that can send your message via email.

Message ID: All messages can have a counter added which will allow you to determine when you might have missed messages, or when messages have been delayed.

Redirection: Enables you to forward your messages to someone else based on a set of complex calendar rules. For example, during business hours to one number and after hours to another.

Work Order Template ‘Always in Business’: You can specify four pieces of information and the operator will prompt callers for this information each time. Details are delivered in a pre-defined SMS format. You may want to ask callers for their name, number or the reason for their call. Transport companies may want to capture events from contractors in the field. A Work Order Template SMS costs an additional 20c per message.
